Checkered Hardwood End Grain Chopping Board Wenge & Maple

These are some of the most beautiful chopping boards I have ever come across. They are made in very limited numbers so I'm lucky to be able to offer those that are available. End grain chopping boards are in my opinion the best option for the home chef. They are gentle on your knives as the wood fibres separate as you cut. These fibres are capable of self-healing by closing back up. Scratches don't show up nearly as much, especially in these hardwoods. Being made from hardwoods they built to last a lifetime.

They are made with a juice groove to prevent liquid spilling onto your work surface. There are small rubber feet fitted to the underside to keep the base dry and prevent the board from slipping.

I recommend applying knife wax regularly to maintain the finish and prevent ingress of moisture.
